William Faulkner
Founder and owner, Shantal Hart has over 15 years in the media industry.
On completion of her Journalism Masters, Shantal began establishing her career as a reporter and content maker, working across major media outlets including the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, ARN Adelaide (Mix 102.3/Cruise1323) and the Australian Traffic Network.
Her experience has also spanned across the Seven and Nine Networks, presenting traffic reports for the TODAY Show and Sunrise, including those broadcasted across numerous major Australian radio stations.
“Getting up every morning at 4am to present the traffic for breakfast radio and TV was both challenging, and rewarding - I loved presenting, but my passion has always been writing (and a good sleep in!)”
This background has enabled her to have a complete understanding of what grabs the attention of both the media and the public.
Coming from a mixed-cultural background, food has continued to play a significant part in Shantal’s life, having dined and experienced some of the best menus across the country and overseas. It’s this that inevitably led her to focus on the hospitality industry.
“I love being social, and I’ve been really lucky to have met so many amazing people in my life, from various backgrounds and cultures.
It’s often reflected in my writing style too - diversity, that is. Suddenly the print becomes interesting, colourful, adventurous and endearing - kind of like painting a picture, but from a palette of words”.
